The wedge

Most HR tools are designed for HR people. Odexy HR is designed for the people HR serves — the managers approving leave, the employees logging time, the new hire signing a contract on their phone. Every workflow is self-service end-to-end, audit-trailed, and shares the same schema as Projects and Payroll.

What ships today

  • Employee directory — names, roles, managers, work email, personal email, start date, location.
  • Leave — request, approver workflow, manager auto-routing, leave balance per type, calendar overlay.
  • Time tracking — start/stop or manual entry, weekly digests, auto-approval rules per role, edit history.
  • Capacity planning — per-employee availability after leave + holidays. Shared with Projects.
  • Contracts — industry-standard templates (offer, employment, contractor, NDA, joining letter). Region-aware variables.
  • Joining packs — emailed bundle of contract + NDA + handbook. Recipient signs in-browser; signed PDF lands in the employee file.
  • Document signing — public token routes for offer / contract / NDA acceptance. No DocuSign account needed.
  • Goals + reviews (basic) — quarterly goal-setting, manager review forms.

How it integrates

  • Projects — capacity view, task assignment, time logged on tasks. One employee record.
  • Recruitment — when a candidate accepts, HRM provisions the employee + emails the joining pack atomically.
  • Payroll — employees + compensation are HRM source data; payroll runs read directly.
  • Expenses — managers approve in the same UI they approve leave.
  • Email — every notification (leave decision, joining pack, contract reminder) routes through one outbound module.
  • Calendar — leave + start dates surface in every employee's view.

How the AI helps

  • "Schedule one-on-ones with my direct reports for next week — respect everyone's existing calendar."
  • "Approve all pending leave requests where the team has at least 2 people available that day."
  • "Draft a joining pack for the new SRE — start date next Monday, role from the offer letter."
  • "Show me anyone whose time-tracking submission is more than 3 days overdue."

The AI inherits the requester's role. A manager-AI sees its team's leave; an employee-AI sees only their own.

Built for scale

  • Permissionshrm:employee:read:any vs :team vs :own. Compensation gated separately.
  • Audit — every doc generation, every signature, every leave decision logged. Edit history on time-tracking entries.
  • Multi-currency — compensation stored in the employee's currency; payroll converts at the configured rate.
  • HIPAA mode — when enabled (Enterprise), tighter session expiry + extra audit detail on PII access.
  • Document export — every employee's file exportable as a ZIP of signed PDFs.

Design-partner take

> "The new joiner signed contract + NDA on their phone on a Sunday evening. The payroll deduction was set up before they walked in Monday morning. That used to be three different tools and two days of coordination." — Design partner, 50-person SaaS
