The honest version
What actually breaks — before it costs you a Monday morning.
- Monday's 'anything is a column' flexibility does not always survive the type-check into Odexy's typed schema. Some columns need explicit re-modeling — a Monday text column carrying 'John Smith, Head of Sales' becomes two Odexy fields: a person-reference + a role label.
- Monday formula columns need porting to Odexy computed fields or client-side transforms in the DataTable view. Simple SUM/AVG/IF port cleanly; complex nested formulas need review.
- Time tracking on Monday items imports as Odexy time entries, but Monday-specific timer widgets are re-created.
- Board views (Kanban, Chart, Gantt, Calendar) rebuild as saved views on the destination entity. The Kanban swim-lanes preserve; Gantt dependencies need a manual review pass.
- Cross-board 'connect boards' with bidirectional writes rewrite to Odexy foreign-key relationships with realtime; the write semantics are actually stronger post-migration.
