Odexy vs. HubSpot: an honest comparison.

HubSpot is the category-defining CRM for SMBs. It does CRM beautifully. If you only need CRM (+ marketing + maybe service), HubSpot is hard to beat. If you also need HR, recruitment, payroll, and invoicing joined to the same customer record, Odexy is the platform.

Why teams switch from HubSpot.

Per-cloud, per-seat adds up fast
Sales Hub + Service Hub + Marketing Hub at Professional tier = $1,800+/month for a small team, before the $1,500 one-time onboarding fee. Odexy bundles the equivalents into one subscription.
You need real HR + payroll
HubSpot knows your customers. This knows your customers, your team and your money — so an accepted quote becomes the invoice, and HR and payroll run from the same people records.
You want an audit log
HubSpot's account audit log shows 30 days in the app, and covers the most on Enterprise. We record every change across every module — who made it, and the full input and output of each action — in a log chained daily, so an edit to history is detectable.

Side by side.

Read every row. Odexy isn't ahead on every dimension — we own that below.

The honest list.

Where each one is ahead. Read both.

HubSpotWhere HubSpot is better

  • Pure CRM polish — UX is class-leading for an SMB sales team.
  • Marketing automation depth (workflows, A/B testing, attribution).
  • Ecosystem of 1,000+ integrations + an app marketplace.
  • Brand recognition with new hires who already know HubSpot.

Where Odexy is ahead

  • Your CRM, invoicing, HR and payroll all working from the same records.
  • AI inherits permissions; no separate Breeze authorization model.
  • Per-organization pricing instead of per-cloud per-seat.
  • Audit log + dangerous-action gates across the whole product.

Pricing — apples to apples.

$100

per seat a month for Sales Pro ($90 billed yearly), plus a $1,500 one-time onboarding fee

HubSpot Sales Hub + Service Hub Professional for 10 people: ($90 + $90) × 10 = $1,800/month billed yearly, plus $1,500 one-time onboarding for each hub. Pricing verified 2026-09-23 from hubspot.com/pricing. The same 10 people here: Starter, $49 a month. That is CRM and support alone on HubSpot — here you also get HR, Recruitment, Payroll and invoicing.

Migration path.

Contacts import from a HubSpot CSV export, with column matching. Deals, companies and tickets have no importer yet: they move through the API, using a key from your own account against the same actions the app runs, or are recreated as you go. The complex piece is marketing automation — Odexy doesn't yet have HubSpot's workflow depth, so marketing-heavy teams should plan a period of running both.

Need a hand? Talk to migrations — first-week setup support is free for any team coming from HubSpot.
