Comparison
vsZoho

Odexy vs. Zoho One: an honest comparison.

Zoho One bundles more than forty apps for a flat per-employee price, and as a bundle it is hard to beat on breadth. The catch is what happens between the apps: each was built separately and connected afterwards, so your customer in the CRM is not quite the same record as your customer in the invoicing tool. This was built as one product, so that seam does not exist.

Why teams switch from Zoho One.

One schema, not 40 apps

Zoho CRM, Zoho Books, Zoho People, Zoho Inventory — separate products with sync jobs. Odexy joins them in real SQL.

Modern stack

Zoho's apps span generations of interface design. Odexy was built as one product, so every module looks and behaves the same. A hundred thousand rows opens in under a second.

AI that uses the real UI

Zoho's Zia is a chat assistant inside each app. Odexy's AI works across every module, doing the work through the same screens and permissions your team has.

Side by side.

Read every row. Odexy isn't ahead on every dimension — we own that below.

ZohoWhere Zoho One is better

The honest list.

  • Sheer breadth — 40+ apps including domains Odexy doesn't enter (websites, social media, surveys).
  • Inventory + manufacturing depth.
  • Region-specific compliance for many local markets.
  • Long-running brand presence and ecosystem.
Where Odexy is better

Why our customers picked us.

  • One schema with real cross-module joins (not sync jobs).
  • Consistent UX across every module (no generational drift).
  • AI that operates the real UI vs. per-app chat assistants.
  • Audit log + dangerous-action gates standard across the suite.
  • Per-organization pricing instead of per-employee.

Pricing — apples to apples.

List prices for the equivalent tier each vendor sells. Your actual spend depends on seats, add-ons, and the tools you stop paying for.

Zoho

Zoho One

$90/user/month (Flexible User, billed annually); All-Employee is lower per head but must be bought for every employee on payroll

The cheaper Zoho tier requires a licence for every employee on payroll, whether they use it or not; the flexible tier lets you licence only the people who need it, at $90 each. Pricing verified 2026-09-05 from zoho.com/one/pricing. We are narrower than Zoho on raw app count — check that none of the Zoho-only apps are mission-critical before switching.

Migration path.

Odexy provides importers for Zoho CRM, Books, and People (Phase 2). Sync-free migration: data lands in Odexy's unified schema, joined immediately. Most teams stage the migration module-by-module over 2–4 weeks. Teams using Zoho's region-specific or vertical apps should keep those during the transition.
