What it does

Choose Continue with Google on the sign-in page and you are in with the Google account you already use — no separate password to create or forget. Where your browser supports it, Google's one-tap prompt offers the same thing without leaving the page.

Signing in only proves who someone is. What they can see and do still comes from the roles your workspace gives them, and every change they make is recorded like any other.

Setup

Nothing to set up. Google sign-in works for every workspace, on every plan.

What it is not

  • Not a Google Workspace sync. Signing in with Google does not connect your Calendar or Drive. Connecting a Gmail inbox to the Mail module is a separate step you take in the product.
  • Not SAML. If you need Google Workspace as a SAML identity provider, see SAML 2.0 — it is not available yet.
